A semi truck driving on Interstate 71 caused an accident when it drifted from the center lane. The semi was traveling southbound in the center lane when it began to enter the right lane. The right lane was occupied by another semi truck. The two semis collided and went onto the shoulder of the highway, striking another semi which was parked and changing a tire.
The two men changing the truck tire were unharmed, as was the other semi driver. The driver of the first semi was taken to the hospital. Luckily, no other parties were involved in the accident.
Unfortunately, truck accidents are quite common on our roadways in Ohio. Truck drivers are usually on a very tight schedule, which can lead them to skipping required stops and trying to push their driving abilities to the limit. If you find yourself involved in an accident with a semi truck, the attorneys at Keis George llp are more than capable of getting you the recovery you are entitled to.
